THE AVIATOR JACKET
The aviator jacket first took shape in the early 20th century, made to endure the open skies. thick leather for warmth, structured shoulders for protection, and a silhouette that spoke to function above all else. It was a piece that held its ground against wind and altitude, a quiet armor for the everyday pilot.
From there, it became cultural. Worn off-duty, it carried the aura of adventure, of movement, of lives lived beyond the ordinary. The aviator slipped from cockpit to street, always holding on to its sense of function and resilience.
Over the decades, the design has proven itself timeless. While trends rose and fell, the aviator never disappeared, it simply adapted, its shape and spirit remaining constant. It is one of the rare garments that has never gone out of style, belonging as much to now as it did to the pilots who first wore it.
Our interpretation continues that lineage. It moves easily through the rituals of modern life, getting coffee, walking the dog, carrying dry cleaning home at dusk.Oversized in cut, with padded shoulders for structure, it holds presence without rigidity. The proportions feel modern, yet the core intention remains the same: warmth, durability, and longevity.
What began as gear for the skies has become an heirloom of style. Worn differently in every era, but never out of place, the aviator carries its history forward with every wear. Ours, cut from deadstock leather of the 1990s and ethically hand made with care in small batches. This jacket is an heirloom for generations to come.
